On March 28, 2016, KEEP participated in the 2nd Annual Non-profit Organizations (NGOs) fair which took place in Paynesville, Monrovia.
The fair brought together more than 100 NGOs, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) under the auspices of Liberia International Non-Governmental Organizations (LINGO) Forum and the National Civil Society Council of Liberia (NCSCL).
LINGO and NCSCL have over the years been the focal point for NGO information dissemination in Liberia and facilitated and enhanced the work of over 60 international NGOs in the country.
The theme for this year’s celebration was: “Strengthening Partnerships”. “The Fair is a great way to help reinforce the long-standing partnership among CSOs, local and international NGOs and also build strong solidarity than ever,” said Frances Greaves, National Chairperson, Civil Society Council of Liberia.
The Fair will create a platform where civil society and NGOs will show what they are doing in Liberia.
This was KEEP’s first time participating and we learned a lot and look forward to the next one.
