KEEP-Liberia Graduates 8 Students In Basic Computer Literacy

On September 16, 2023, as part of its computer literacy programs for children under 18 years old, 8 students successfully completed three months of intensive digital literacy training program in basic computer operations.

The computer literacy program is designed by the Kids’ Educational Engagement Project (KEEP) to educate students with requisite computer knowledge that will make them competitive and to give children the platform to advance themselves through digital literacy. Students are also equipped with the fundamental knowledge needed to navigate the digital world confidently.

Through this initiative, children are introduced to essential computer skills in a fun and educational environment. The program is a free and open to children from different communities, schools, backgrounds and experiences, making the program a vibrant and inclusive learning experience.

The program is structured to cover key computer literacy topics, including Introduction to computers, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point presentation, and other basic computer concepts. Special thanks to or dedicated students, parents and instructors for making this program engaging and successful. KEEP plans to continue offering such programs to enhance computer literacy among young learners and foster digital skills that benefits children.
