KEEP is excited to report that after several months of discussions and coordinating, we have received a donation of more than 6,000 various reading books from our partner organization in the USA, Tools of Learning.
We are excited about this donation as the rooms we have established as well as the ones we hope to establish in the coming months will need to be stocked.
KEEP has partnered with Tools in the past and received a donation of more than 15,000 composition books which were distributed to children around Liberia.
Tools of Learning is a charity based in California, USA with the mission to provide to early childhood educational programs free or very low cost Tools of Learning, including phonetic, musical and mathematical instruments that allow even the most vulnerable children to get started on success.
Currently KEEP has 3 Reading Rooms, with plans to complete 3 more before the end of 2017 and will be shipping the books to Liberia within the next few days. Collectively, these 3 rooms cater to more than 2500 students.
