After several months of discussions, KEEP is excited to announce the donation of over 100 boxes of assorted reading books by Libraries for Liberia (LFL). Libraries for Liberia is a charity organization based in the USA with the same goal as KEEP: Education & Promoting Reading Among Students.

The donation was made recently at the headquarters of the Girls Guides Association of Liberia, focal partner of LFL in Liberia.

The over 100 boxes of books were assorted reading books for elementary students as well as novels, workbooks, and fantasy books geared towards early learners.

Making remarks at the donation, the founder & executive director of LFL, Mr. Zulu Cooper said this was the essence behind the work his organization is passionate about, to ensure that schools across the country are equipped with books to help educate the children. To see amore literate society.

He noted that organizations like KEEP help make that possible and he is happy to be able to donate and support the work they are doing in the country.

Receiving the items on behalf of KEEP, Mrs. Brenda Moore thanked Libraries for Liberia for the support and promised that the books would be distributed to the schools as promised. She further said her organizations looking forward to supporting LFL to distribute the books into other schools and communities should they need help. She noted that KEEP intends to open 4 more rooms over the next 12 months and the books are needed and greatly appreciated.
